Bond fans and Land Rover lovers will be happy to hear that the Land Rover Defender 110 will be featured in the latest James Bond movie.
This luxury SUV will be taking the starring role in one of the film’s hair raising chase sequences. And fresh off the set, the movie star car made a huge splash with its first US public appearance at the 2019 LA Auto Show.
Film Debut –‘No Time To Die’
The Defender stopped being sold in the U.S. back in 1997 but is returning to the market in 2020 and making its film debut in the latest Bond installment, “No Time To Die” in April. And as a teaser Land Rover has released a short behind the scenes video to give fans a glimpse of the 4-door Defender 110 models used in the movie, and demonstrate what they can do. Doing the driving is Jess Hawkins, a British racing driver, and stunt driver, who shows the Defender performing in extreme off-road conditions, blasting through fields, woods, and rivers.
Santorini black
The Defenders used for the movie’s scenes were the first off the production line in Slovakia, featuring Santorini Black exteriors, darkened skid pads, and 20-inch wheels with off-road tires. The movie also features a Series III Land Rover, a range RoverClassic, and a new Range Rover Sport SVR.
Final Bond movie for Daniel Craig
“No Time to Die” is the 25th Bond film and the final one for actor Daniel Craig. It’s US release date is April 8, 2020. One of the movie star Defenders made its U.S. public debut at the L.A. motor show to great acclaim.

The Defender 110 will go on sale in the U.S. in Spring 2020 and is priced from $49,000. The Defender 90 body style will be available later in 2020.
