While these three will make their way up and down one of the toughest race tracks in the world, the lead is kind of buried with Acura when you consider this information.
The Acura Pace Car for the Event
When the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb takes place, the pace car being used will be the prototype of the 2021 Acura TLX Type S. This car features a lot of what you’ll want if this is the car you’ll drive and it will don the look of a pace car with race logos and sponsorships that you’ll be pleased to see when you watch this event later in the month.
Excellent Power in the Acura TLX S Type
Not only will the Acura TLX Type S be the pace car for this race, but it also has the power you’ll love if you want an impressive luxury sports car to take out on the track. This amazing car has the power that comes from a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine that’s expected to produce 355 horsepower and 354 lb.-ft. of torque. While we don’t have the speed numbers for this car, you can expect it to offer you the speed you’ll admire.

With the V6 engine under the hood, the Acura TLX Type S sports car will have speed and acceleration on par with other premium and luxury sports cars like the Audi S4, BMW M340, and Genesis G70 3.3T. Another Power Version of the Acura TLX
Even if you don’t want the more powerful and sporty version of the Acura TLX, you can have this sedan with a powertrain that works great and gives you impressive fuel mileage. The base version of the TLX uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This new model of the TLX will be on sale in the fall with the Type S following in the spring.
