Dodge Encourages Creativity with New Jailbreak Models

Time to get those creative juices flowing! Orders are now open for the 2022 Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody Jailbreak models. Head to your Dodge dealer to design yours.

Jailbreak? Sounds Kind of Dangerous

You absolutely do not have to be an outlaw to unlock this incredible suite of features. The Jailbreak package runs about $995 and features color combinations previously restricted from ordering. This allows you to design the Charger or Challenger of your dreams, from the exterior paint, striping, and brake caliper colors to the leather interior.

Let’s take a quick look at Jailbreak by the numbers:

• 13 Exterior paint colors. And Dodge is teasing a new color coming soon.
• 7 Seating options, including Hammerhead Grey, exclusive to the Jailbreak package
• 7 Different striping and graphic options
• 7 Wheel designs, including the exclusive Warp Speed Satin Carbon and Lightweight Low Gloss Granite
• 6 Brake caliper color options, including yellow and blue exclusive to the package
• 5 Badge finish options, including the exclusive Red and Brass Monkey colors
• 4 Color options for the steering wheel, seatbelts, and floor mats

So if you fancy the F8 Green exterior with yellow calipers, red stripes, and a red leather interior, go wild!

What Else is New in the Jailbreak Package?

If the customization options aren’t enough to get you to your Dodge dealer showroom, how about ten extra horses under the hood?

The Jailbreak package bumps the horsepower from 797 to 807 HP. So, it’s slightly less potent than the discontinued Demon option, but if you need—or want—to clear a quarter-mile in a hurry, it’s still plenty fast. And it has the same satisfying roar when you mash that pedal to the floor.

The Jailbreak package is part of Dodge’s “Never Lift” program. Never Lift is a campaign aimed at launching a variety of new Dodge models and initiatives over the next two years. Among these initiatives is a new line of Direct Connection performance parts and a Dodge Power Brokers program that is just rolling out.
