GMC has announced that the next generation of GMC Acadia will debut in 2024. The last time consumers were blessed with an Acadia generation was way back in 2016. Since then, the automaker has made slight changes and some improvements, but this next-gen Acadia marks the release of an all-new brand of SUV. As one of GMC’s most popular SUVs, consumers are eager to find out what the auto company has planned for the near future.
The new GMC Acadia, which is set to become available in 2024, will be the third generation of the vehicle. The GMC Acadia is one of three SUVs that GMC currently manufactures. The GMC Yukon is a full-size SUV built for large families and packed with power. The GMC Acadia is their midsize SUV, equipped with great handling and praised for its versatility. And the GMC Terrain is designed for backroads and performance-driven adventures. GMC only makes three SUVs, so the fact that the Acadia is getting a big update is a big deal.
Don’t miss out on the all-new GMC Acadia. Details are still being released, but keep reading to find out all there is to know at the moment.
What We Know About the 2024 Acadia So Far
GMC has not yet released all the details, but we do know some things for sure. If you are a fan of the Acadia or even own a used GMC Acadia, you’ll want to know what these new ones are going to offer.
In terms of exterior design, there have been a lot of changes. The new Acadia will feature a redesigned fascia, giving the vehicle a more square-ish and dynamic look. The shape is similar to the old one, but it’s a bit more boxy. The new generation will have large wheels and roof rails, similar to the older ones.
We can expect more modern tail lights in the back, as well as a dual exhaust. Most importantly, though, the new GMC Acadia is going to be larger than a used GMC Acadia. GMC plans to debut a full-sized Acadia for consumers who want the versatility of the Acadia and the size of the Yukon. This new, full-sized Acadia will feature three rows of seats. So, all the kids and cargo are going to fit just fine for summer travels.
Other Changes GMC Has In Store
As for the other changes, we are still trying to figure out what GMC has planned. We know the 2024 GMC Acadia will have the GM Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system, which enables drivers to drive hands-free on certain roads. Other than that, the 2024 GMC Acadia will be fitted with a turbocharged 2.7l I4 L3B gasoline engine. So far, there is no sign of GMC including a hybrid or electric variation for this SUV.
GMC enthusiasts are happy to see the Acadia get another generation. Used GMC Acadia is still doing very well in America.
