The Newest Hyundai Concept is Electrifying

Hyundai Seven EV

If you haven’t heard of the newest Hyundai concept SUV, you’re in for a treat. Hyundai dealers everywhere are getting ready for the full release of the extra-large Hyundai Seven. Of course, not all concept cars make it into production, but the Seven is certainly going to raise some interest.

The Future of EV

Hyundai has been on the frontlines of eco-friendly vehicles for years. At the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show, Hyundai reps wanted to showcase how scalable the Korean automaker’s EV platforms can be when it comes to the future of production.

The Hyundai Seven EV is built on Hyundai’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the same platform that powers several upcoming new Hyundai rides, including the Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, and the Genesis GV60.

What’s So Special About the Hyundai Seven?

When you stop by various Hyundai dealers, you won’t see many extra-large vehicles. Even the super-popular Hyundai Palisade is only classified as a mid-size. The Seven, however, is one of the largest concept vehicles to come out of South Korea. It has a 10.5-foot wheelbase, which is bigger than what’s found on the gigantic Cadillac Escalade.

The Seven also sports fun coach-style doors that make getting in and out easier than ever. There is a bench seat that curves around the rear to the side of the vehicle, and the captain’s seats are able to slide, pivot, and move around. This makes the Seven’s interior one of the most customizable options on the market.

Like other new EVs hitting the market, the Seven boasts some serious potential. It’s expected to have over 300 miles of driving range on a single charge. Thanks to the available 350kW chargers, this SUV will be able to charge from 10-percent to 80-percent in only 20 minutes.

The Future of Hyundai Vehicles

Hyundai dealers everywhere are excited about the direction in which this brand is moving. Hyundai is making a run at what vehicles of the future will include, especially automobiles with autonomous driving features. The interior of this SUV lends itself to a group of people enjoying each other’s company while the car manages its own drive.

Hyundai also made sure to use renewable and recycled materials to make the interior elements. This is not only a great way to keep this vehicle green, but it also makes keeping things clean and sterile easier than ever. The Seven also has a built-in UVC light that helps sterilize everything when the cabin is empty.

Waiting Is The Hardest Part

Since the Hyundai Seven is a concept car, it’s hard to say what will be included in the final model. Even if all of the dream features aren’t included in the first release, you can be assured that the Hyundai Seven will be the most advanced SUV on the lot available at your local Hyundai dealership.
