August 21 of this year marked a date that offered us a look at something that we haven’t seen in many years and won’t see again for several more. The total eclipse of the sun had us all looking up at the sky in anticipation of the moon passing in front of the sun and this event has given the inspiration to one brand to offer us a pair of trucks that carry in the qualities and performance we want while now having a look that we’ve come to admire and enjoy one the road.
Nissan is the brand that has come out with a pair of new pickup trucks that give us the look we want. The new Midnight Editions of the Titan, Titan XD, and Frontier models will join the rest of the lineup that already offers these editions. This means you’ll be able to have a Midnight Edition model for the Altima, Maxima, Murano, Pathfinder, Rogue, and Sentra vehicles along with these new pickup trucks. These different models that offer us the sinister feeling of the blacked-out look that we admire will make it easy for us to enjoy what we like to have on the road.
What does a Midnight Edition bring?
When you take a look at the Titan and Titan XD full-size pickup trucks you’ll see a black grill with a dark insert, dark headlights, black finishes, black fender louvers on the Titan XD, black outside rearview mirrors, black door handles, black step rails, black exterior badging, 20-inch black painted aluminum wheels, body-color matched front and rear bumpers, charcoal interior trim, Midnight Edition exterior badges, and Midnight Edition floor mats. These two versions of the Titan can be purchased in your choice of three colors with Magnetic Black, Gun Metallic, and Pearl White.
If you choose the Midnight Edition of the Titan XD you will have a truck that’s offered in the Crew Cab setup in SC and SL models. These two trims will give you the 4WD system you want and be powered by the Cummins 5.0-liter V8 turbocharged diesel engine that can be a lot of fun for you to drive on the road. The standard Titan model is offered in the same cab and trims but can be had as a 2WD version rather than the 4WD if you want to have this truck for on-road driving only.
Take a look at the Frontier Midnight Edition for the 2018 Nissan lineup and you’ll have a gloss black grill, 18-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, semi-gloss black step rails, body-color matched front and rear bumpers, black outside rearview mirrors, black door handles, black badging, and Midnight Edition floor mats. This mid-size truck is offered in the Crew Cab SV trim in 2WD or 4WD models with an automatic transmission and it’s offered in your choice of Magnetic Black, Gun Metallic or Glacier White paint to give you the look and feel you want on the road.
