When it comes to a full size pickup truck you have to make a large commitment to the price, the fuel costs and the size of the truck in order to enjoy owning one. Some of these trucks don’t even fit in the garage and are left out in the weather when you’d rather have a garage kept vehicle to drive. In order to have a vehicle that fits in your life much better you should look to the midsize pickup trucks rather than the larger ones. This gives you more fuel savings, a smaller vehicle, but will also allow you the payload and towing you need.

Nissan Frontier – The Frontier has been on the market for many years and gives us a great familiar space to enjoy. GMC CanyonThis is a truck that offers you some upscale features such as leather upholstery and a look that you’ll certainly love. You can have 305 horsepower from the 3.6-liter V6 or engine the benefit if a turbocharged diesel engine that gives you 181 horsepower but 369 lb.-ft. of torque. This is a truck that can do the heavy lifting that you need and tow as much as 7,700 pounds while still giving you 31 mpg of fuel mileage. Because GMC offers the Denali trim you can opt for this and have a truck that gives you more comfort than you would expect.

Chevrolet Colorado – As the twin to the Canyon this is how GM offers you a no-nonsense vehicle that makes a great choice for you to drive. This truck has the same statistics, but comes at a much lower price because of the lack of frills that you might not want to have on your truck. This one its cousin from GMC are both able to be had with extended cabs or crew cabs with two bed lengths and either a RWD or 4WD to make the ride to and from where you need to go a pleasant one.

Honda Ridgeline – This new midsize truck is one that has reentered the market in a build that’s a lot different from what we used to have on this truck. The old Ridgeline was a unibody construction, which this one is as well. With a tow rating of as much as 5,000 pounds this truck can get the job done while giving you some interesting features such as a swing out bed and a box under the floor of the truck bed. The Ridgeline uses a 3.5-liter V6 to make 280 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque for your driving pleasure.
