What is the new McLaren 570S?

I hear the name McLaren and instantly I think of the P1 and the 650S which are both of the super and ultimate varieties from McLaren.  These models were made to win races, take over the track and leave all the other super cars behind with a wide range of statistics that make them the most active and advanced cars we can find just about anywhere.  Making their hay competing with the Lamborghini and Ferrari models while fully expecting to leave these competitors in the dust which means the expectation is that the 570S is a car that will compete with the Porsche 911 or Audi R8, but McLaren has stated that is not the consideration at all. Yeah, Let’s Upgrade That!

Does everything in the automotive world need upgrading?  Can we not just be happy and satisfied with a car that can reach sixty mph in lightning speed with a performance to hold a hairpin turn at top speeds?  Do we really need to keep pushing the envelope to make cars that are faster, better performing, more powerful, more aerodynamic and certainly sportier?  Absolutely, it wouldn’t be in the nature of any car enthusiast to not embrace the ideal of creating vehicles that are better, faster, stronger on every level.  This certainly is not just an American principal either; it’s one that is felt worldwide. How About Some Racing

McLaren P1 GTR

McLaren burst on the scene several years ago by having a 24 Hours of Le Mans victory on its first attempt at the highly touted race. The car driven was McLaren F1 and run by Lanzante Motorsport which has maintained a relationship with McLaren ever since. Now McLaren has its racing monster in the form of the P1 GTR that Lanzante has helped them produce, which is ultra-powerful and built for the racetrack. What seems like it could not be possible, is exactly what Lanzante and McLaren are working to make happen which is a racecar that is street legal for all of us to fully enjoy. Continue reading
