When most people think of a pickup truck, especially one with 3500 in the name they picture a big hulking machine capable of hauling anything at all or pulling a Sequoyah from its roots. What they don’t often picture is a truck loaded with classy comfort and style features that would simply rival luxury cars. For 2015, GMC put a much larger emphasis across its truck line on providing its hard working, blood and sweat dripping fan and owner base with a lot of comfort and driving pleasure once the long and hard workday was done.
The Sierra HD fits the bill nicely as a serious do-it-all kind of truck that has a ton of interior comfort to enjoy. Add to this the varying configurations an owner can choose from and there is certainly a Sierra in the lineup that will help to get the whole crew to the jobsite, or pull the big boat to the shore for a day of fun in the sun. New for 2015 are fully redesigned interiors and exteriors of the truck to keep with the smaller lineup as well as the addition of the CornerStep bumper and LED tail lights.
Driving the big Sierra 3500 HD offers a massive amount of power, but to go along with this power is the an excellent drive feeling. With a well-designed suspension this big truck leaves the road defects on the road and doesn’t send them crashing into the occupants of the cabin. The steering is very predictable and allows the truck to handle just about anything that can be thrown its way. The cabin is extremely quiet as well allowing on the desired noises to be heard inside the behemoth.
