11.22.16 - Nissan Titan

For as long as the Nissan Titan has been on the market it’s always been offered as a Crew Cab model. The Single cab offering has not been something that was presented to us a possibility and this has been a part of the market that Nissan has missed out on. For 2017, the Titan will finally be offered as a Single Cab, taking an important step toward the improvement of this market and becoming a choice that you can have if you’re looking for a great new work truck for your business to use at the job site.

The Single Cap work truck makes up ten percent of the market for full sized trucks and the Nissan Titan has been missing out. Now that this great truck has entered this part of our market, which is where more crews shop than any other, let’s take a look at what the new Single Cab versions of the Titan will offer us. This new truck model will offer an eight-foot long bed and the XD model will be capable of towing up to 12,640 pounds. Regardless of the model you choose you’ll have Bluetooth Hand’s-Free connectivity and a rearview camera.

The base model of the Titan S will start at $30,775 and use a 2WD setup with the SV starting out around $33,655. If you want to have 4WD on the S model you will have to pay at least $33,805 and the 4WD SV comes to you at a $36,685 price. There is only one engine that will be part of this new truck offering, the 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine that uses a seven-speed automatic transmission and produces a full 390 horsepower to give you all the power you need. With this price structure, engine and features the Titan offers a ton of value for the price you pay.

The XD version of the Titan will give you more choices that you can make. The 5.6-liter engine is available, but so is a 5.0-liter Cummings turbocharged diesel V8 which gives you 310 horsepower and a heavy-duty six-speed automatic transmission. The XD S will start around $32,285 and the diesel moves the price up to a starting point of $38,335. The XFD is offered in both S and SV trim and with either a 2WD or 4WD setup to give you the ride you want to enjoy.

The Titan truck is also covered by the bumper to bumper warranty for five years/100,000 miles which adds to the value that you can enjoy on this new work truck. If you need a great truck for work or play, the single cap Titan is one that you should consider driving to give you the ride you’re looking for, the towing you need and a price that you can’t beat for a truck of this size.
