Typically a vehicle that’s been upgraded only three years prior won’t receive across the board upgrades in the middle of the generational run. BMW decided to dispel these “normalities” and make the changes that we would enjoy anyway. This means the BMW 4 Series receive new engines across the lineup that are lighter and more powerful than before. Along with these new engines the 4 Series adds new names to the lineup to give us the right way to see how these new models perform and at what level, making this a sport luxury car that we’ll continue to love and admire.
Recently we’ve seen news that BMW will add the i-Brand technology to at least one Mini model and to the BMW X3. This announcement makes me wonder if BMW is going to continue to use the i-Brand as just a testing ground for the continued improvement of the parent brand and the Mini vehicles that will be the result of some of the dynamic features that can be added to any of the models, but new information has me thinking we will see more models from the i-Brand in the near future.
When you spend your time shopping for a luxury sports car you might not select a luxury nameplate. If performance is the most important part of driving to you there are two you might consider that are typically not direct competitors, but they can be when it comes to your attention and the desire to have a sports car that will handle everything you want to give it to offer yourself the drive you want to enjoy. The two we are looking at today might just surprise you when it comes to comparison testing, but they do offer several similarities in their overall performance.
When a car has been on the market for forty years or more there is expected to be changes that make the car look much different with every model year. Take a look at the Chevrolet Camaro; the models of today don’t look anything like what we saw ten years ago, twenty years ago, in the 1980, 1970s or even during its original time on the market. If you were to look at this car as an evolution you couldn’t as the Camaro has been built and rebuilt over the years to bring us dynamic designs that have finally taken it back to the muscle car days of old.
Should all cars receive respect on the market? Not at all, some don’t have the versatility to be able to fit into several places on the market, but some have enough of what we need to be a great car to buy and enjoy. While you might not like some of these cars, others on this list just might be the right choice for you as you see what these cars that have been disrespected have to offer. Once you find that car which will fit your lifestyle the best, you will wonder why more people aren’t enjoying the car you chose for their driving needs.
Watching movies and television shows often has us rooting for the good guys as they struggle through some sort of conflict to eventually come out on top, but at times it could be a lot of fun to be the bad guy or to root for them. At the very least, in those instances when a car is needed, the bad guys usually have some of the coolest cars to drive that offer some of the most impressive power and features for us to admire. For those classy villains that need the posh comfort for thought and plotting their next evil schemes, here is a list if awesome cars that are perfect for the job.
The car company that has brought us the technologically advanced i3 and i8 is ready to offer us a new plug in hybrid on the 5-Series sedan. This new powertrain will give us a great way to enjoy the drive of the 5-series and have at least thirty miles of uninterrupted driving in the EV mode. If you though the 5-series was already a sedan that gave you everything you wanted, BMW is ready to show you more from the hybrid model to ensure you know this is the car for you with the most fuel efficient powertrain to make it to this car yet.
BMW has led the charge for great driving sedans since the 1980s when they showed up with the M3. Others have followed with their own performance variants, but we often don’t think of them because of the notoriety of the M3 and the AMG performance models from Mercedes-Benz. Even though these might not be your typical choice for a performance sedan, they can all give you the drive and performance you want in order to be great cars to own. With that in mind I offer you ten sedans you should consider although many are going to be models of the past, but it’s still worth a look.
The 2015 BMW M235i xDrive is certainly one of the most engaging and sporty luxury coupes from BMW. Amazingly this little Beemer comes with AWD which is the xDrive for BMW but when you look at the entire lineup you can see that BMW has put the xDrive on nearly every vehicle in the BMW lineup. This is thanks to the increase in sales of Crossover SUV and the fact that families now have at least one vehicle with AWD aboard and some even refuse to buy a car without it. This means the smallest car in the BMW lineup needs to have the AWD aboard as one of its options. Continue reading
Year after year the BMW 3-Series was the sport sedan model others were trying to compete with and come anywhere near. Unfortunately, with recent advancement and hard work, the likes of Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac and Audi have brought us models that are just as good as the 3-Series and in some cases even better. With this stiff competition, the engineers of BMW went back to the drawing board to create a car that was even better than before and regain their step up on the competitors. Continue reading
