The Air is Getting Thick and Congested

10.28.16 - 2016 Cadillac CTS-V

Who would have thought when radio waves and signals began transmitting through the airwaves that at some point we would have an airspace that was completely congested, but that seems to be where we are. Not only are the airwaves becoming more congested with signals for radio, television and cell phones, but for the past sixteen years there has been a part of the airspace that has been reserved for the automotive industry. This space hasn’t been significantly used since it was on reserve at the beginning of the decade, but it seems the auto industry is on the verge of finally putting it to use.

2017 Hyundai Santa Fe: A Much Better Deal than You Thought

10.28.16 - 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe

The Santa Fe from Hyundai has been one of the most popular SUVs on the market for several years, but in some ways this SUV hasn’t been given the credit it deserves for being a great deal. I think it’s time we change that and show you just how great a deal this SUV can be and why you should be driving it in the near future.

This Really isn’t a Kid’s Toy

10.26.16 - Go Karts

The original versions of go karts were normally built by dads who wanted to spend some time with their kids building something cool in the garage. Even though moms wouldn’t allow a full size car to be built, what harm could a lawnmower engine and some sheets of plywood actually be? When the go kart came out of the garage for the first time it was to the delight of the dad and the kids who made and the certain chagrin of the mom who was hoping they would get bored and give up on the idea.

This is Certainly the Ruination of the Neighborhood

10.25.16 - Sussex County, Delaware

Those of us old enough to remember when it didn’t matter which adult in the neighborhood disciplined us it counted have seen what neighborhoods have become. With most of us working more than fifty hours a week, the need for multiple incomes in the home, and a serious lack of free time on our hands the neighborhoods of old have all but gone away. Today you’d be lucky to know who your neighbors are, let alone have them care that your kids are doing something they shouldn’t be doing, which may be what brought about this story.

2017 Infiniti QX30: A Collaboration of Excellence

10.21.16 - 2017 Infiniti QX30

It fairly obvious that Infiniti wanted to make sure their entry into the subcompact crossover SUV market would be one that was able to make a difference and show off some impressive qualities. In a collaboration with Daimler the QX30 for Infiniti was born and is brand new for the 2017 model year to give us the smallest SUV from this brand and one that will be an outstanding look and feel to the market to take on others in the market such as the BMW X1, Lexus NX200t and even the Mercedes-Benz GLA250 from which the architecture for the QX30 came.

What is BMW Doing with the i-Brand?

10.20.16 - BMW i5

Recently we’ve seen news that BMW will add the i-Brand technology to at least one Mini model and to the BMW X3. This announcement makes me wonder if BMW is going to continue to use the i-Brand as just a testing ground for the continued improvement of the parent brand and the Mini vehicles that will be the result of some of the dynamic features that can be added to any of the models, but new information has me thinking we will see more models from the i-Brand in the near future.

The Midsize Revolution

10.14.16 - 2017 Chevrolet Colorado

When it comes to a full size pickup truck you have to make a large commitment to the price, the fuel costs and the size of the truck in order to enjoy owning one. Some of these trucks don’t even fit in the garage and are left out in the weather when you’d rather have a garage kept vehicle to drive. In order to have a vehicle that fits in your life much better you should look to the midsize pickup trucks rather than the larger ones. This gives you more fuel savings, a smaller vehicle, but will also allow you the payload and towing you need.

The Viper is Going Out with A Bang; Five of Them

10.04.16 - 2017 Dodge Viper SRT

One of the most admired and desired sports cars in the world will finally head to an end which has been discussed for some time. The Dodge Viper has been around for a quarter of a century and will now end its tenure and ride off into the sunset. This car has stood for true American muscle and even when other sports cars were succumbing to the new technology the Viper remained a car that is perfect for the track while using a massive V10 engine that can easily allow the car to be one of the most impressive vehicles on the market today.
