You would think with all the standard features that there wouldn’t be much in the way of optional equipment, but there certainly is. All three trim levels offer either RWD or 4WD and the SR5 includes a Sport Appearance Package that adds 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and a Premium Package that has leather trimmed seats, a power reclining and fold flat third row of seats, an auto dimming rearview mirror with a rearview camera monitor, the Entune Premium Audio system and the Navigation App Suite. Speaking of the price for the Sequoia, the SR5 starts out at $46,000 for the RWD model. This gives you a great SUV to buy for the money you spend, but if you want to move up to the Limited you can have it for $55,000 while the Platinum comes in at $62,500. Adding 4WD to the mix of any of the models will cost a few thousand more which means you can easily have a loaded Sequoia for under $70,000 which in the large SUV segment is not a bad price at all.
When looking to drive the large Sequoia you might feel the drive will be hard to handle, but you would be incorrect. This powertrain also gives you the full power of being able to tow up to 7,400 pounds in order to handle the heavy loads when called upon to do so.
When you look at the Sequoia from the outside it’s easy to mistake this SUV with one that is part of the luxury lineup.
